3D-Printed Airless Tires
No air. No punctures. No compromise. Our fully 3D-printed airless tires carry unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) through terrain that destroys conventional wheels – printed layer by layer from elastomers and composite polymers, tread and structure in one single piece.
- Customers: B2B – UGV manufacturers and operators
- Use cases: Evacuation & logistics robotics – Agriculture – Defence
- Material: elastomers and composite polymers, carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon rims
- Weight: two-part rim 8 kg · complete wheel 16–22 kg depending on load rating – more on the rim below
- Status: field-proven · pilot production 2026
«Standard pneumatic tires cause 90% of all problems with UGVs.»The pneumatic tire is the weakest point of any unmanned ground vehicle. Shrapnel, barbed wire, sharp rock, rebar – one puncture and the mission ends where the machine stops. Our answer removes the air entirely: a puncture becomes physically impossible, because there is no pressure chamber to puncture. The printed internal lattice structure absorbs impacts elastically and keeps its shape even after damage – what a pneumatic tire achieves with pressure, our geometry achieves with design.
Four seasons, from +40 °C to −30 °C – proven where the ultimate measure of reliability is human lives saved.
Watch VideoProgrammed, not inflated
Tread, load-bearing lattice and rim connection emerge from one continuous print – no vulcanizing, no bonding, no assembly. Because the geometry is digital, stiffness and damping are programmed for each UGV type and payload, and a design upgrade is nothing more than a new file. Large-format 3D printing is the only manufacturing process that can build this structure at all.

The closed side profile
Every open-spoke airless wheel on the market shares one weakness: mud, stones and debris pack into the open structure, the wheel gains weight with every kilometer, and range collapses. We solved it. Our tires are the first airless design with a fully closed side profile – nothing accumulates inside, the weight stays constant, and the vehicle's energy efficiency and range are preserved over the whole mission.
Add the sealed body and the result is a wheel that shrugs off exactly the conditions you see in these pictures: deep mud, packed snow, sharp rock – tested through four seasons, from +40 °C summer dust down to −30 °C frozen ground.
The two-part rim: 8 kg, built for the field
We don't sell a tire – we deliver a complete wheel solution for UGVs: the airless tire plus a rim developed specifically for it.
No standard rim could do this job: an airless tire with a closed side profile needs a precisely matched seat, and the lattice's load paths demand even, all-round clamping. Our answer is a two-part rim weighing just 8 kg. Its bolted flange ring grips the printed body uniformly across the full circumference – and because the rim splits, the tire can be replaced in field conditions with standard tools, no press, no workshop.
The complete wheel weighs 16–22 kg depending on the load rating, and the bolt pattern is adapted to the hubs of each UGV platform. Tire and rim are engineered as one system from the same digital model – in testing, the design outperformed classic solutions on the key operational parameters.
Tested where tires die
Not on a proving ground alone – in real evacuation and logistics missions on Ukrainian UGVs, under conditions no test lab can simulate.
Endurance test – TARGAN 3K 244 EVO UGV
- 361 kmtotal distance, incl. 151 km frontline operation
- 11 missions1,825 kg of cargo delivered
- 0 to −15 °Cfrozen, rutted terrain
- 1 medical evacuationcompleted on these wheels
Result: local wear and surface cracks – but full functionality to the end of every route.
Overload test – “Rys Pro” evacuation UGV
- 285 kmproduction and field testing
- ~800 kgreal load on wheels rated for 400 kg
- + towinga second UGV during recovery
- Swamp terrainwith full mobility retained
Result: visible tread wear at double overload – but no delamination, no cracking, load capacity intact.
A stable wheel is a completed evacuation
The most important mission of a UGV is not spectacular – it is bringing a wounded person back, or water, medicine and supplies forward. Every immobilized vehicle puts people at risk. That is the real purpose of this development: wheels that cannot go flat make evacuation and supply missions predictable – in crisis zones, in disaster relief, wherever machines drive so that people don't have to.
The same reliability pays off far beyond: agricultural robots that roll over stubble and stone without downtime, inspection platforms far from any workshop – and every replacement wheel can be printed locally, exactly when and where it is needed.

Tested on different UGV platforms and through every season – here is what the wheels went through.
Printed spare parts instead of shipped stockpiles
A conventional tire is a global logistics chain of plantations, factories and warehouses. A printed tire is a file plus local material. For fleet operators that changes everything: no minimum orders, no storage, replacement printed on demand – at a fraction of the cost of established airless systems. Developed together with Lemki Robotix and Zeykan Robotics as part of our decentralized production network; pilot batches can be produced now, with scaling to thousands of wheels per month prepared.
